Bundle Box not only enables you to offset your shipment, but will actually pay for 50% of the cost. Actions speaks louder than words! How does it work? Together with Benjamin Kott (during daytime Green Business Operations Manager at Google EMEA), Bundle Box has developed a carbon calculator to estimate the amount of CO² that is emitted during the transport of your shipment. Once we have calculated the amount of CO² emitted by your shipment, we use a typical market rate of £15.00 per 1000 kg CO² to estimate the costs of offsetting. Each time we have gathered 100 tons in CO² offset, we offset these through purchasing credits in one of the projects of Carbon Footprint. Carbon Footprint provides UK government assured offsetting. This means that you can rest assured that your carbon offset is of good quality and that the credits we purchase comply with the Kyoto Protocol and have been checked by the United Nations.
