Already by shipping your items in one consolidated shipment with Bundle Box from the USA to the UK, you are reducing the CO² emitted by your import activity from the USA.

We feel that is not enough. Now with Bundle Box you can carbon offset the CO² that is emitted during the transport of your shipment by road and air. Bundle Box not only enables you to offset your shipment, but will actually pay for 50% of the cost. Actions speaks louder than words! If you select to carbon offset your shipment, Bundle Box will pay for 50% of the costs to offset your shipment.

How does it work? Together with Benjamin Kott (during daytime Green Business Operations Manager at Google EMEA), Bundle Box has developed a carbon calculator to estimate the amount of CO² that is emitted during the transport of your shipment. Once we have calculated the amount of CO² emitted by your shipment, we use a typical market rate of £15.00 per 1000 kg CO² to estimate the costs of offsetting. Each time we have gathered 100 tons in CO² offset, we offset these through purchasing credits in one of the projects of Carbon Footprint. Carbon Footprint provides UK government assured offsetting. This means that you can rest assured that your carbon offset is of good quality and that the credits we purchase comply with the Kyoto Protocol and have been checked by the United Nations.
