Apple.com will officially open the pre-order of the iPad in the USA today (1330 GMT).
With BundleBox, you can be among the first owners an iPad in the UK, Europe and Hong Kong, receiving it within 3 days of the highly anticipated 3rd April US launch.
That means you can get your hands on the iPad around a month before the UK, Europe and Hong Kong will have it for sale.
HOW CAN I GET IT?
There are two ways to get your hands on the iPad in advance:
1. US CREDIT CARD
If you own a US credit card simply pre-order your iPad on the Apple website from March 12th and have it delivered to your USA BundleBox address following the 3rd April launch.
2. BUNDLEBOX BUY FOR ME SERVICE
No US Credit Card? no problem! Our Buy For Me service lets you register and pay for your iPad in advance by filling in a simple form. BundleBox will buy the iPad on your behalf and deliver to your USA BundleBox address following the 3rd April launch.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The 16GB WiFi version will cost £465.20. This includes all shipping costs and VAT, a saving of over £30 on the rumoured UK launch price!
Happy Bundling,
The Bundle Box Team.

Can you tell me, why are you only communicating this as a UK service? As an outside-UK customer it makes me hesitate to use your services. Other then that I wonder how many people have a US credit card. Without it you pay a bit more than the expected streetprice (although it’s still not that bad a deal).
Take away my doubts and I’ll probably order one this afternoon through buy it now
March 12, 2010
Hey there - Apologies for making it seem a UK service. It is not and we can ship your iPad to the Netherlands or any of the other 18 countries we ship to:

- France
- Germany

Hi… Here looking at the iPad bundle.
Do we put all the details into the calculator for VAT and Shipping (i’m from the UK), or is there a short cut ??
Great Service by the way.
March 12, 2010
Hey Tim
We estimate the shipping weight & dimensions as 1.5 KG and 11.5″ x 9.5″ x 3.5″
For shipping to the UK, likely charges will be around £50 for 2-3 day Express service, £35 for 4-5 day Regular service and £19 for 7-14 day Economy service
Duty is zero, VAT the usual 17.5%
Happy bundling!
March 12, 2010
Ordered, woohoo!
*exited*
March 12, 2010
https://www.bundlebox.com/buy_for_me_payment/34/ this page freezes for me in Safari when I click on “Add delivery Address”
Also how do I specify the Express service? Is there someone I can call to place an order?
March 12, 2010
Hi, I am new to this. What do I put in for shipping and costs?? I want express delivery ideally.
March 12, 2010
Hey there
It is free shipping from Apple to your BundleBox, so you can put $0. It will arrive on April 3rd, so then you can book your shipment from your BundleBox to your final delivery address
Happy bundling
March 12, 2010
Hi there
We are working hard to fix that. In the mean time you can add your address here, and then it should work fine: http://www.bundlebox.com/addresses/
Let us know if that works
Happy bundling
March 12, 2010
Works great thanks Andre! Ordered! My mum is gonna be so happy if I get this before her birthday
You might want to fix that sharpish as you’ve been mentioned by t3.co.uk so you will be getting a lot of traffic, and also on google page 1 for “ipad” that’s how I found you!
March 12, 2010
Cool Jody
We’re on it!
March 12, 2010
On the assumption the iPad is going to be really popular, do you expect to get all your iPad orders in on the release date of 3rd April?
March 12, 2010
Hey Chris - We are pre-ordering from Apple once we get your order. Apple promises to deliver the iPad to your BundleBox on April 3rd, so thrusting Apple to hold up its promise and deliver, yes, we expect all orders to hit your BundleBoxes on April 3rd. Happy Bundling!
March 12, 2010
Many thanks for your swift reply Andre. Just about to order!
March 12, 2010
Hi, I’m living in Singapore which is not one of the countries you ship to. Is there any way that you can help to make a pre-order for the ipad and ship it to me through an alternative method?
March 12, 2010
Hi Andre,
Just a quick question: the £465 price tag you mention - that price does not include your buy for me service charges, does it?
And if not, could you give an estimate of how much ordering the cheapest model will cost for those of us without American cards?
Thanks,
Bruno
March 12, 2010
Hey Bruno - yes, it includes the handling fee. It is based on the regular 4-5 days delivery service. Add on £20 for the express 2-3 day delivery service. Happy bundling, Andre
March 12, 2010
Hi guys,
will you guys be placing orders through the weekend? i’m quite keen to get the first batch, but if there is a significant delay due to apple running out of stock I may just wait for the uk launch.
cheers,
r
March 12, 2010
OK, well i ordered using “by for me”, what happens now, do I get confirmation that you have ordered it on my behalf and a number to track on apple.com?
March 12, 2010
Hi, what a great service idea!
Can I ask if the price of £465.20 includes shipping, handling and the “Buy it for me” credit card service?
Can we also add accessories to the order (e.g. a case and dock)? Would this adversely affect the price?
Thanks again!
March 12, 2010
Yep, we are
If Apple would stop the preorder because they are out of stock we will refund you 100% immediately
happy bundling
March 12, 2010
Hey there
sorry, we don’t ship to Singapore yet. We are working on it, but it won’t be ready in time to get the iPad to you on April 3rd.
March 12, 2010
Hi Andre,
I just placed an order for a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad, and just wanted to run something by you.
You quote for £465.20 however having gone through the order process, when converted to GBP, it came out less. While this is great, it indicates I may have done something wrong during the order process.
I presume knowing I have told you I am ordering an iPad, and that you will be shipping it to me in the UK, if there is an issue with funds, you will contact me?
March 12, 2010
Hey Mike
yes it includes all that + the import VAT.
Yes you can add other items as well. The USA shipping part is already free. The shipment from your bundlebox to your delivery address will become more, but on a per kilo basis go down.
happy bundling
March 12, 2010
I’m impressed, didn’t realize that you’d rebate the shopping fee - for me it wasn’t clear from the description.
Should I have received a confirmation mail from Apple about the order? And will we receive a shipping notification from Apple once they ship it to the bundle box?
March 12, 2010
Hey Arron
No worries. We received your order, all is fine.
When you placed the Buy For Me order, we charged you for the iPad + USA sales tax + BundleBox handling fee. When your iPad arrives in your BundleBox, you can book your shipment to final destination and we will charge you the international shipping + import VAT. While you are waiting for your iPad, you can buy and send other items to your BundleBox and ship them together with your iPad to your final destination
Happy bundling
March 12, 2010
Sorry Bram - That was a glitch in the system and was unintentional. We need the handling fee to cover our Paypal transaction costs and to eat a sandwich. You will receive all notifications through the BundleBox system
Happy bundling
Andre
March 12, 2010
Hi there have ordered a ipad using the buy for me option as i live in the uk. I have added my uk address but don’t know how to get the ipad shipped to my uk address i have added it but not selected cant find delivery option. Do i have to wait until the ipad is delivered to yourselves.
Thanks
March 12, 2010
Hey Andrew
That’s right, it is a two step process. We’ll notify you when it has arrived in your BundleBox and then you can book your shipment to the UK.
Happy bundling
March 12, 2010
Haha, you don’t have to be sorry - early adopter bonus?
Thanks for your answers.
March 12, 2010
Could you tell me the overall price of the 32GB WiFi version selling for $599. Can’t seem to calculate a price without purchasing.
March 12, 2010
Hey Thomas -
Sorry but we momentarily stopped taking new orders for the pre-orders. We have momentarily exhausted our iPad pre-order capacity. If you would like to pre-order an iPad through us, please send an email to iPad@bundletech.com and we will notify you once we can take more orders. We are working hard and hope that this will be soon.
The Bundleers who already placed an order can be assured that their orders are processed if not done so already.
Sorry Thomas, stay tuned, hope to have good news for you soon
Andre
March 12, 2010
It would be useful if you confirmed via Bundlebox message center that my order was secured and maybe even the Apple tracking number.
Can you please do this?
March 12, 2010
Andre: Must be a nice feeling to be at your operational capacity!
I got my order in quite a few orders ago and went through OK (though not processed as such yet) but I was intrigued to learn that Apple has a limit of 2 per customer.. you must have some interesting tricks up your sleeve
I’m now going to go cross my fingers for a rather long time…
March 12, 2010
Hey Andy - we are working on it, one order at the time…hang in there
March 12, 2010
Hey Peter - it will be a long night, lets put it that way. Hope you didn’t order more than 2
Happy bundling
March 12, 2010
Thanks for clearing that up Andre.
Echoing Andy’s sentiments above, I would also appreciate receiving some form of confirmation via yourselves that you were able to fulfill my order through Apple.com.
March 12, 2010
Thank you, appreciate it
March 12, 2010
Nope, only the one. Maybe we should chip in for some crates of Red Bull for you guys, lol! Have a good night - I’m sure plenty of us are keeping fingers and toes crossed to keep you going
March 13, 2010
Hey Jody - That’s the second bug you found today. We’ll apply a discount code to your account for being such a good bug hunter and having patience with us
March 13, 2010
I may be a bit thick, but how can one use an item like the iPad in the UK when it’s made for US electrical current? Do you have to buy an adapter or something?
I’m a bit of a gadget freak but I’m reluctant to dip my toe into this because of that. Could you for instance buy a graphics card from the US? Maybe someone can explain that kind of stuff?
March 14, 2010
Can you please tell me the total if i ordered a 32GB WIFI iPad from you please to England, United Kingdom. Can you also please notify me as soon as more pre orders become available.
Cheers
Samar
March 14, 2010
Any idea when you will be taking orders again for the ipad?
March 14, 2010
hey Simon - we should have clarity on this tomorrow - happy bundling, Andre
March 14, 2010

March 14, 2010
We are getting lots of requests for the Wi-Fi + 3G version. The Wi-Fi + 3G iPad is only available in late April, and it is not possible to pre-order it.
Happy bundling
March 14, 2010
Hope we can preorder again soon. Will it be a matter of days or weeks?
Another question. If we want a dock with it.. We just put that in the title and comments?
March 14, 2010
hey Jonas - you can add multiple products to your buy for me request, by clicking the “add product” button. These products need to be from the same merchant. If you would like to have multiple products from different merchants, you need to fill out separate requests - happy bundling
March 15, 2010
Do I have to pay VAT to the customs if I order an iPad through Bundle Box and send it to The Netherlands?
March 15, 2010
Hey Joël - yes, VAT is due on the iPAd. We will collect that from you and pay that to Customs on your behalf, to ensure swift clearance - happy bundling, andre
March 15, 2010
Any updates on whether we can order the iPad again?
You said you should have some clarification today on the matter.
Sorry for being impatient, just need one for a Birthday gift mr my Girlfriend.
March 15, 2010
I know you’re probably getting a lot of requests wanting to know when you’ll be able to sell ipads again, but are you expecting to be able to do so before the april shipping date?
just want to know wheter or not to get myself excited about getting one first week!
thanks,
March 15, 2010
Hey Simon -
Things are looking good. We are processing new orders, in a controlled fashion, to ensure that we can deliver the orders we take. Here is how it works:
- We are notifying users, on a first-request-received, first-request-served basis, that they can place their Buy For Me request for the iPad.
- Notified users then have 24hrs to complete their order.
- Only 1 iPad per customer (this will help us to serve more customers, and make more people happy)
- No jumping the queue please by filling out a Buy For Me request ahead of receiving your notification. We will immediately refund your money and you will go back to the end if the line.
We will continue with this until we have processed all orders. We are confident that we can fulfill all requests that we have received until now.
Happy bundling
Andre
March 15, 2010
Hey Adi - yes, pls see my reply to Simon - Best, Andre
March 15, 2010
Great to hear you’re working your way through the requests - wish I sent the email sooner!
And thanks for taking time to keep us up to date.
March 15, 2010
Ah, fantastic news!!
Thanks very much, and I look forward to getting my email notification!
March 15, 2010
Thanks Andre, I look forward to receiving my notification.
March 15, 2010
Hi
Couple of questions (sorry!) I have received the email saying that you are starting orders again shortly and I will be prompted by email.
If I wanted to get something else delivered at same time ie some t shirts, could I do this? Have not used your service yet so unsure if I need to put in the box and weight when I order it or will that be done on the 3rd? As have no ideas how big a box the tshirts etc will come in!
Also, 2-3 days express service is that working days? Or would that be the monday or tuesday after? Or perhaps wednesday?
Cheers
Garry
Ps you don’t get the graphic with the CAPTCHA phrase first time on safari, only when you get it wrong and go back and try again.
March 15, 2010
Hey Gary -
Yep, you can buy from other websites as well and have these purchases shipped to your BundleBox. We will notify you when these purchases arrive, with their weight and dimensions. When you are ready, you can book your shipment of all your items in your BundleBox to its final destination. Here you can get an idea of what fellow Bundeleers are shipping and of the costs: http://www.bundlebox.com/great_deals/
Yep, it are working days. Will all be shipped on Monday, out for delivery on Wed.
Happy bundling
PS: Where is this issue with the CAPTCHA?
March 15, 2010
Hi Andre,
You probably need to clarify the prices quoted above, as you have:
16GB $499 -> $581 incl USA sales tax and BFM handling fee
32GB $599 -> $634 incl USA sales tax and BFM handling fee
64GB $699 -> $740 incl USA sales tax and BFM handling fee
Which is correct for the 16GB but the 32GB seems to come out at $698.43 and the 64GB comes out at $815.03. I think you forgot to include the BFM handling fee in those cases.
But otherwise keep up the good work, this website is a fantastic idea and I hope it works well for you guys.
Jerome
March 15, 2010
Hi ya
It appears all the time now, but when I use the hyperlink from your email using Mac mail to got the page it wasn’t there, so I opened the sounds file a few times, got that wrong, and then went back like it told me to and voila - could be just me..
Its part of job to find these little things *laughs* and they are the worst kind to re-create or find out what the issue is..
Ok, just closed all safari and got it to do it again, so must be a mac mail and safari thing its not opening up that file the first time.
Cheers
Garry
Ps just seen that the dock is now available again for 3rd, oops lol.

March 16, 2010
Andre,
will the fact its Easter weekend affect delivery? You saying the Ipads on 2/3 day delivery shoul arrive in the UK on the Weds?
March 16, 2010
Thanks, may I know the total (and breakdown if possible) cost in Hong Kong dollars if shipping to Hong Kong? Will you incur taxes at the US? Many thanks.
March 16, 2010
Hi Andre, Can I just clalify something. I have sent an email to the iPad request email address. Do I just wait now for you to Email me as to when I can use your buy it fore option?
Thanks
Paul H
March 16, 2010
Hey Paul H - yep, that’s correct - happy bundling
March 16, 2010
Hey Sky - For delivery estimates to Hong Kong please use the shipping rates calculator on the BundleBox site> http://www.bundlebox.com/shipping_estimate/ (Weight 1.5kg, Dimensions 11.5″ x 9.5″ x 3.5″). The duty category you’ll find under Consumer electronics-> Computers -> iPad. You will face USA sales tax of 6%. No import duty or VAT for Hong Kong
March 16, 2010
Hey Andy - We will deliver this to you with Fedex International and they (and we) are operating on Easter Monday. Earliest delivery Wed, not just for the UK, but for all countries we ship to
Happy bundling
March 16, 2010
Andre i am really confused.
for the 16GB you said the total will come to £465.20 inc shipping and VAT. However after working it out 16GB iPad WIFI $581 = £385 then add the £121 you said the shipping and VAT will cost, this = £506.
Is there something i’m missing? Could you tell me the precise price of the 32GB WIFI only model.. im hoping it will come out as around £520ish.
Cheers mate
March 16, 2010
Hi andre, You wrote earlier that the iPad Wifi+3G is not availble for preorder, but it seems like you can preorder it on Apple store anyway but the delivery is in late April. I’ve sent you a mail about being notified when preorders are are on again, will I still be notified even though I wanted the Wifi+3G? I’m not determined wheter I should get the 3G or not yet.
March 16, 2010
Hey Richard - you are right. Yep, we will notify you, and when you have decided on the 3G version get that one for you - happy bundling
March 16, 2010
Hey Samar
our estimate for the 32GB is £463 for the purchase + estimated £132 for 2-3 day delivery service = £595. For 4-5 day delivery service you’ll end up at £576
happy bundling
March 16, 2010
Hi,
Joined the queue on Sunday, any idea when I’ll get my email?
Thanks
March 16, 2010

March 17, 2010
Hi Andre
I spoke to Sarah the other day and she said my name might be at the top of the list for pre-ordering the iPad from you on Wednesday (today).
Will i be getting the long awaited e.mail today?
Sorry to be impatient - typical Male
Best Wishes
Simon
March 17, 2010
Thanks Andre
March 18, 2010
Andre - great service, looks like you didn’t expect it to be so popular.
It would help everybody to know approximately where you are on your list, e.g. working through last Thursday’s request so we know roughly where we are.
Also I am keen to understand if the order you are working through know will arrive from Apple on the launch date and you can process them right away? Your main selling point is to get the ipad out in a timely fashion. If for instance there is a two week delay I will wait for the UK launch or get a friend to bring one from the US.
Appreciate your comments and the transparency into the process.
March 18, 2010
Hi Mario
Unfortunately last night we hit the max of our ability to jump over the many hurdles that Apple has put in place to prevent Apple fans outside the USA getting an IPad early. This means that we have stopped taking and processing pre-orders because we don’t want to put our current orders with Apple at risk.
We are really, really bummed out about this. We have explored every option and there is just nothing we can do about it.
We hope that Apple will lift some of its hurdles when the iPad goes on sale on April 3rd as that would allow us to make many more Apple fans around the world happy, especially in those countries where an ipad launch is far off.
Not a happy bundling day for us, but we will keep working at it to get you the products you want and if anything changes with Apple in the meantime we’ll let you know.
Andre & the BundleBox team
March 18, 2010
I mean “too bad” …
Anyway.. If I have a US credit card, and order it on the apple site and use bundlebox’s delivery address … would that work as well?
March 18, 2010
Hey Jonas - Users have had mixed experience with that. One of the hurdles…
March 18, 2010
Hi Andre, you started to say that users have had mixed experience with that, one of the hurdles …..?
Can you explain?
cheers
March 19, 2010
Thanks for the update Andre.
I have contacted my bank tonight and they have set my debit card so i can purchase from the US.
Just ordered an Apple iPad 16GB and have had it shipped to my Bundle Box address. The order is currently processing and will be delivered to you Sat April 3rd.
I hope you guys are there to accept all these ipads!
Looks like a busy weekend for you Guys! Lol
Glad i could still deal with your company as it seems a pretty slick operation.
Great customer service so far!!!!
March 19, 2010
Hey Garry - Some of our customers have had issues with Apple and their BundleBox address. It is one of the hurdles that we are facing and working around. Hope you appreciate we cant say much more about how, as we do not want to jeopardize our current orders. Hope this helps, appreciate your understanding - Andre
March 19, 2010
Hey Andre,
I can only enter a 5 or more character zip code on bundlebox … mine is only 4 chars long… (belgium)
help?
March 19, 2010
Hey Jonas - sorry about that. We’ll get it fixed for you Monday morning. In the meantime add a space or underscore? Happy bundling
March 22, 2010
Andre,
Hi, I managed to place an order directly with Apple.com for delivery to my Bundlebox. At the moment the order is confirmed for delivery to my Bundlebox address on 4/3. Assuming Apple do not block my order / delivery to Bundlebox that you will be able to forward this on to my UK address as per your normal process and that I am not affected by your pre-order hold?
Can you confirm.
Thanks,
John
March 22, 2010
Hey John - absolutely, no problem. That is our normal service offering
Happy bundling
Andre
March 22, 2010
Andre,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for 4/3 delivery to Bundle Box(or there abouts).
I will certainly be using this service again in the future.
Cheers,
John
March 23, 2010
Hi Andre,
I’m going to go for the same approach as john and try and order an ipad directly from apple and get it delivered to my bundlebox address.
Can I book bundelbox to send it to me once I have the details of the apple shipment? i haven’t used bundlebox yet before!
thanks v much
adi
March 23, 2010
Hey Adi -
yep no problem. When the iPad arrives, we check it into your BundleBox and notify you via an email. Then you can book your shipment and we’ll send it to you
Happy bundling
Andre
March 23, 2010
Hey Andre,
Was just wondering if you could let me know what’s happening with my iPad request?
I subscribed to be notified when I could order an iPad 8 days ago, and I have heard nothing yet. I’ve seen others who have been asked to order within two days.
I tried to ask your twitter account what’s happening and he/she said that you had stopped taking iPad orders.
Does this mean I cant order at all? Or if i can, will it be before April 3rd?
I’ve been checking my emails every few minutes for the past eight days and I don’t think I can keep doing this!
Or is it better for me to order it straight from Apple to my bundlebox address and then ask you to forward it?
I had done this previously but cancelled because the shipping and tax estimate was £300+, I know the iPad is supposed to be tax/duty free so was this shipping estimate incorrect?
Sorry for the long comment!
Thanks in advance,
Chris
March 23, 2010
Hey Andre,
Sorry I was reading above and realised most of my questions had already been answered, (Duuh!)
However the question I asked about import duty is still confusing me, will the staff at bundlebox know its an iPad and sort out the import duty for me?
Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris -
No worries, thank you for your patience with us.
Yes, BundleBox takes care of Import Duty & VAT so you don’t get a surprise phone call from the courier company asking you for import taxes. When you book your shipment to final destination, we ask you to declare your shipment, and to select the relevant duty category (the iPad you’ll find under Consumer electronics-> Computers -> iPad), in this case with duty rate of 0%)
Hope this helps
Andre

Hi,
I haven’t used this service before. I am now confused with US tax. Is the $699 for the 64GB iPad not what I will pay to Apple if I buy and get sent to my BundleBox address? Or is something added first?
Thanks
Matty

US Unlocked tweeting that Apple are cancelling orders to known freight forwarders addresses. Do you forsee any problems because of this?
March 25, 2010
Hey Matty - in the USA sales tax applies. It depends on the product, where the merchant is and where the buyer is. For the iPad send to Kentucky the USA sales tax will be 6% - Happy bundling, Andre

Hey Andy - We don’t foresee any problems, this is one of the hurdles that we are working around. - Best, Andre
March 25, 2010
Hi,
I seems that Apple started canceling all iPad pre-orders to addresses used by re-shippers.
Are BundleBox addresses also affected by this?
Regards,
Frans
March 25, 2010
Hey Frans - Some Bundleers that ordered directly with Apple to their BundleBox have experienced cancellation of their orders. For the iPads that you ordered through the BuyForMe process there are no issues - Happy bundling, Andre

When I add to basket and get to the checkout stage, it says $740. Is that the final price? Plus the £140 I would pay to BundleBox for VAT and delivery.
March 26, 2010
Hi Andre
I managed to place an order directly with Apple.com for delivery to my Bundlebox. Currently the order is shown as confirmed for delivery to my Bundlebox address on 4/3.
If all goes well, when do you expect to be able to ship this onto my UK address?
Regards
Alex
March 26, 2010
Hey Alex
you can book your shipment once it has arrived on Saturday. It will go out on Monday then
happy bundling

Hey Matty

March 26, 2010
Apple, worked it out now. Above when you had said is was gonna be $815 I thought that was from Apple. Before I realised it was from yourselves using BFM.
March 28, 2010
Hi Andre.
Would I be able to order a iPad case through “Buy For Me” if I’m not ordering an iPad through yourselves?
What’s the likely cost of the iPad case delivered to the UK?
Cheers.

I am living in France and am wondering with the VAT have to be paid when the device arrives or does it all get sorted out by bundlebox?
March 29, 2010
Hi Alexandr
Of course you can do that. Here you can get accurate shipping estimates: http://www.bundlebox.com/shipping_estimate/
Please note that Apple indicates that most accessories will be delivered around mid April
Happy bundling

March 29, 2010
Hey Patrick -
all is sorted by BundleBox. You can get an accurate estimate of shipping & VAT here: http://www.bundlebox.com/shipping_estimate/. Duty is 0%

I have heard that Ipad online shipments are now not guaranteed for delivery on/by 3rd April 2010. Apple is stating delivery by 12th April 2010 now. Does this only apply to new orders or will all orders be affected?
March 29, 2010
Hey Pritesh - Our understanding is that this applies to the new orders only. Also we have noticed that most accessories like the iPad doc and the case will be delivered around mid April - Happy bundling, Andre

Andre,
Hi, I’ve got a shipping notice for my iPad delivery to Bundlebox adddress for 3/4, there is an option to ‘pre-sign’ the delivery. It is worth doing this or leave it for a signature by Bundlebox?
Cheers,
John
March 30, 2010
Hey John - best to leave it for signature by BundleBox - happy bundling, Andre
March 30, 2010
Hi Andre
Just got an email from Apple confirming delivery to BundleBox on April 3rd.
and forward it asap!
Be there to receive it
Cheers
March 30, 2010
Hey Alex - we’ll be there! Happy bundling, andre
March 30, 2010
Andre: no news is good news, right? Did you receive any shipping notifications from Apple for the people that used the BFM service? It’s been a long wait in the dark so I’d be quite happy to see some light at the end.
March 31, 2010
Apple have cancelled my orders through BundleBox and then through another provider of a similar service. Looks like they are clamping down hard on exports. Let me know when the BFM orders open again and we will have another go at it. Thanks guys.

Hey Jack and all other Bundleer iPad fans -
On Monday we started to receive shipping confirmations for the iPads that we ordered and until yesterday all looked fine. Last night Apple canceled a batch of orders for which we had not received a shipping confirmation yet. This morning we will get the full picture of the orders that got canceled and contact our customers that were affected by this.
The orders for which we have received shipping confirmation seem unaffected and we are awaiting still a number of shipping confirmations. So lets keep our fingers crossed.
I can’t tell you how we went about circumventing Apple’s hurdles to avoid Apple canceling more orders. I can tell you that it has been a tremendous amount of work, and that many people have helped us. That makes it especially disappointing that Apple canceled some orders.
Not a happy bundling day
Andre

Andre,
Good work with the iPad ordering.
Are there any estimated dates when your likely to start taking ‘buy it for me’ service?
March 31, 2010
Hey Adam - pls check back on Tuesday. Hope to have an update then. Happy bundling, Andre
April 1, 2010
Hello,
I would like to know how much would it cost to get a 64Gb iPad delivered to Belfast, Northern Ireland in the UK including the import fees and the VAT and shipping. So, all in all, I’m asking how much would it cost me all together to order said iPad model through bundlebox.
Also, when would I be able to place my order? I know I’ll have to wait until the pre orders are over, so for example, would I be able to place my order through your services from the 4th of April?
Thank you in advance, and best regards,
Gary Strain

Hi Andre,
Do we receive any kind of notification if our order receives a confirmation from Apple, or is it just edge of the seat time until Saturday?
Appreciating all your hard work!
April 3, 2010
Hi Andre,
UPS is reporting that my iPad has been delivered to my bundlebox. WHen will I see it on my arrived shipments dashboard?
Cheers
Alex
April 3, 2010
Hey Alex - we are working on it. There are quite a few..
April 3, 2010
Apple are requiring activation via iTunes for the iPad. What happens in they aren’t activating non-US iPads!! Anyone have any ideas on this?
April 3, 2010
I don’t think activation will be an issue, no problems with US sourced iPhones in the past. You could always get a US iTunes account if needed.
April 3, 2010
They don’t require activation in the same sense as the iPhones did. If you look on Mac Rumors people have “activated” them but just plugging them into a computer for a few seconds.
April 3, 2010
Hey Andre, had a call from Bundlebox yesterday (thanks) stating that my IPad will be in my arrived shipments dashboard today. Cant see it so far but can you confirm it will be there today? Thx
April 3, 2010
Cool, thanks!
April 4, 2010
Hi, I was going to wait for UK release but couldn’t wait any longer so I ordered a iPad from Apple yesterday to my bundle box address. All seems to be fine so far, ships by 12th April up to now
Have you got the exact information of the box or an exact price for delivery on the iPad 64GB Wifi model? I want 2-3 day delivery.
Thanks Matty
April 4, 2010
Does anyone know if Apple are allowing BundleBox addresses yet or are they still blocking them?
April 4, 2010
Hey Jack - things are looking good
April 4, 2010
Hey Gary - pls check back with us on Tuesday
April 5, 2010
Nope…Apple canceled again to my BundleBox address.
Andre can you let me know when you are taking orders again please.
April 7, 2010
Hey Jack - we should have news on this today - Happy bundling, Andre
