Showcasing the cream of unique USA style for Men this Blog turned shop is an absolute gem. The site hails itself as being: ‘About things, American things and good looking things’. With J Crew choosing to advertise on there, we knew we were on to a good thing!

Apart from Mens style, the blog also gleans interesting insight into film and Maps and Intel (featuring the best shopping in NYC shown on a map). ACL’s religiously followed American List details the best of American made style.

We took the liberty of delving into the depths of ACL to uncover a few covetable pieces that are perfect to keep you on top style form during Summer.

At the ACL shop you will find some well designed separates and accessories that are the result of a collaboration between ACL and American designers such as the effortlessly cool leather-maker Billykirk, American Classic Gant, and Editors favourite shoe designer Mark McNairy.

We were particularly drawn to the Billykirk briefcases ($325 below) designed using duck canvas and a horween leather trim. The design is based on a WWII era U.S Navy issue officers briefcase and comes in three colours.

The Dirty Bucks Shoes ($295 below) from Mark McNairy are a classic style of shoe for the modern man. Hand-made with a red brick sole, these suede bucks have Goodyear welt construction that will last a life time.
